The Bill Moynihan Lifetime Service Award is an Award chosen by the President to recognize a Board Member that goes above and beyond the normal course of business with outstanding dedication to our Association.  This year’s recipient is truly deserving of this award for outstanding participation in his Board duties.  Ed O’Dell has served on the board of the NJWMA for over 20 years as a board member, executive committee member, President and Chairman. Having worked in the moving and storage industry most of his life, he is dedicated to the industry.

Ed joined the association in 1998 and has served on the board ever since, He has served as President from 2006 to 2008 and as Chairman from 2009 to 2011. Ed Chairs the Bylaws committee and serves on numerous other committees.  Ed has been the emcee for the NJWMA conventions for the past few years and has provided us with his own entertainment whether it’s singing in his band or pretending to be Elvis on stage while hypnotized!

Ed is the owner of Wade O’Dell Wade Moving & Storage in Midland Park, N.J. and actively operates his family business as an agent for United Van Lines.  He is a Circle of Excellence member, with a wealth of knowledge in the industry which he shares with fellow movers.  You could always call Ed for any questions or advice about the industry.   

Ed is well deserving of this award and we are grateful for his years of dedication and service on the board of directors, and to the members of our association.
