Every year we review the achievements of individuals within our association as well as within our industry, to seek out a person that has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to the moving industry through dedication and goal achievement. We know that it is very difficult to operate a moving company and deal with a host of issues that range from cash flow to customers and still find time for family. We also know that a company doesn’t grow without strong leadership and gaining the respect of their community and their peers. This year’s winner is someone that has demonstrated those qualities by improving the industry through personal dedication to his company and still finding time to reach out and selflessly help other movers or jump into action during a time of need.

This year’s recipient is awarded to, Augie Pensa, previously owner of A Pensa Modern Movers. It’s fitting to recognize that Augie’s dad was one of the founding members that helped form this association 50 years ago. We owe a debt of gratitude to all those movers that came together to unite us as the New Jersey Warehousemen & Movers Association. Thank you Augie.
