Severe Injury Reporting Reminder

Since January 1, 2015, OSHA has required employers to report all severe work-related injuries, including amputations, in-patient hospitalizations, and loss of an eye. The Severe Injury Reports (SIR) dataset is periodically updated and available on the SIR Dashboard page, covering incidents under federal OSHA jurisdiction. Please note that geocodes in the dataset, based on third-party services, may vary in precision and accuracy. Incidents from states with OSHA-approved State Plans are not included.
