NJWMA Apprenticeship Program

NJWMA has been working toward creating an apprenticeship training program for the NJ moving and storage industry that will be available to all members. We plan to expand our previous in-person training classes that were cancelled due to COVID, and offer new classes that can be provided online combined with On-Job-Training.  However, getting NJDOL approval for an apprenticeship program has been frustrating.  Movers must be in a collective bargaining agreement or registered with a union apprenticeship training program in order to be able to bid on Public Works Contracts. Any movers that were denied a PWC registration renewal, please contact Bob Russo bob@njwma.org and advise if you have received your registration renewal; if not, please bear with us.

We also need some industry sponsors that have instructional training videos that show movers how to properly use their mechanical products.
