Movers…if you are doing business out of state or in the quarantined counties you are required to have a spotted lanternfly (SLF) permit.  As we are in hard economic times the introduction of SLF will put a further strain on resources.  States are considering compliance agreements and phytosanitary certificates for any means of conveyance both owner operated and hired.  Non-compliance may result in the load being sent back to the place of origin no matter the distance.  For business continuity and loss avoidance, we ask you to please get an SLF permit for your company, place a copy in all vehicles and inspect cargo/vehicle before leaving.  Following these guidelines protects you and all the other industries the spotted lanternfly impacts by reducing the likelihood of additional infestations in other parts of the country.
